These new features bring in the casual and fun elements to resemble the office culture on a virtual meeting, making working from home less challenging.

 

Zoom wants to empower people to feel their best in virtual meetings, express their individuality, and build moments of fun with new features that uplevel the video game. Zoom filters, reactions, improved lighting capabilities, and enhanced noise suppression make sure that wherever and however one meets, it’s more fun with Zoom.

Use color filters and turn your video into a black-and-white photo, or dip your world in pink and let your unique personality fill every inch of the screen.

With granular control over the intensity of touch-ups and lighting adjustment, one is ensured to be well-lit in any lighting. Change the brightness of the panel and amount of skin smoothing to put your best video frame forward.

Zoom’s improved noise suppressions makes disturbances like barking dogs, a whirring fan, and kids playing in the background nearly disappear. At the low setting, soft background music can complement a yoga class or game night. Present like a boss when you share your PowerPoint or Keynote presentations as a virtual background. Your video will overlay on the slides – weathercaster style. You can move your video to any part of the screen and even resize so that you’re truly one with your message.

These features are accessible on Zoom 5.2. To limit this functionality, users can disable meeting filters at the account, group, and user levels in the Zoom web portal.
