Watch: Kangana Ranaut’s stinging satire on Bollywood in association with AIB

It seems like Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut is on a mission. Just a few after her controversial interview with Rajat Sharma, she is back in news for her latest video in association with All India Bakchod (AIB). The categorically labelled ‘casual sexism’ video titled “The Bollywood Diva Song” features Kangana Ranaut and stand-up comedian Varun Thakur. The video is a satire on Bollywood and the way it portrays misogyny.

The video showcases the set of a song sequence where the director is prepping for the shoot, in which Kangana plays the quintessential ‘love interest’ and Thakur portrays the typical Bollywood hero (Shah Rukh Khan).

The very first scene will take you back to 2001’s blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. The seven-minute-long video aptly describes the discrimination that women have to face in the film industry.

The video brings out the best of AIB by putting forth the worst of Bollywood, right from Deepika Padukone’s cleavage controversy to low fees for female leads.

Well, the video has much more than these words and if you really want to see the height of innovation in terms of lyrics, we insist you to watch this video that is created on the tunes of ‘Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan’.
