The Maruti Suzuki XL6 has been a long popular and powerful Crossover styled SUV from the Suzuki Stable. The torque converter automatic or 1.5 L 103 BHP or 138 NM torque engine 5 speed manual comes in a low guzzling Petrol version only, no diesel or electric on offer for now.
The price point is also attractively placed with SmartPlay Android Auto enabled infotainment system even on the zeta and Alpha variants, based on the Ertiga platform , means this is a serious contender to the Honda BRV.
The XL6 price starts at 9.35 Lakhs, all the way to 14.8 Lakhs, and for most people a better choice than the similar 3 row seating 6 seater Ertiga. Amongst the popular features are DRL DayTime Running Lights and rain sensing wipers and automatic 4 segment LED lamps. The rear section has guide LED lamps too, and heavier bumper.
The interiors are dark and with artificial leather full reclining seats in the first row, while the second row has a gap between the airline seats for easy ingress and egress of the third row passengers. A 7 inch SmartPlay Android Auto and AppleCarPlay infotainment screen decorates the cabin upholstery, while transponder keys mean keyless entry in addition to push to start button instead of keys.
Also on the safety front the brakes come with EBD, full airbags and ESP in the automatic variant. The controls are light and responsive ith solid gear transitions and toils well in the L mode on Himalayan slopes on the automatic variant, with Hill Hold features too.
