Our knees and elbows are overworked, aren’t they? The friction leads to the accumulation of dead skin on them and that’s why they appear to be darker than our normal skin tone. Save yourself unnecessary trips to the parlour because we have three super easy hacks up our sleeve which can help you lighten dark knees and elbows at home!
What you need:
- Olive Oil
- Lemon Juice
- Salt Aloe Vera
Step 1- Mix 1 tbsp of olive oil and 2 tbsp of lemon juice in 1/2 cup of salt. Olive oil will nourish your skin, lemon juice acts as an antioxidant and salt will help exfoliate your skin.
Step 2- Apply the mixture on your knees and elbows and leave it for 15 minutes. Do it regularly.
Step 1- Cut one potato in half and dip it in the curd. Potato is good for reducing blemishes and curd lightens the skin.
Step 2- Apply the curd on your elbows and wash it after 15 minutes.
Step 1- Mix 2 tbsp of honey and 2 tbsp of fresh aloe vera gel. Aloe vera gel is efficient in lightening the skin and honey is an effective moisturizer.
Step 2- Apply the mix on your knees and leave it on for 15 minutes. Apply it regularly for effective results.
