With the entire female fatale of bollywood is ruling out in Malaysia for IIFA, how we can forget to expect something on fashion front and this year it happened with IIFA Fashion Extravaganza, where the designers including Rocky S, Masaba Gupta and Gaurang Shah showcased exclusive collection with tinsel beauties walking the ramp. Apart from this, the leading singers of bollywood added spice to the evening with live performances on the hit tracks of recent time.
Hosted by Vivek Oberoi and Neha Dhupia, Fashion extravaganza was IIFA’s tribute to fashion fraternity. The evening began with musical fragrance by Nakash Aziz followed by Kanika Kapoor and Aditi Singh Sharma.
With his ethnic collection ‘Umrao’ and Sonu Sood as the show stopper, designer Gaurang Shah showcased 26 garments consisting of lehengas, saris, churidars and kurtas in shades of pink, yellow, golden red and purple.
While Masaba went on with her quirk and unique fusion line inspired by IIFA. With colors like gold and black, the entire range gave the glimpses of aura of IIFA. The collection included sari with collared blouses, jackets, pants and shirts. With three beauties including Aditi Rao Hydari, Malaika Arora Khan and Huma Qureshi walking as the showstopper, Masaba took the final bow in a single toned dress layered with a jacket.
And the final call was by Rocky S which was more about western gowns and single dresses. The final show down began with Dia Mirza sashaying a shimmering gown, which was followed by body-hugging dresses, gown with creative slits and frills. Actress-dancer Lauren Gottlieb looked stunning in a black one shoulder gown, while Bipasha put the ramp on fire with her smoky eyes and black glittering gown.
