Your guide to luscious lips

An upgraded wardrobe would be great or maybe a new haircut would be fun but we are making case for switching up something as little as your lipstick this season. After all the 2016 runways, a handful of breakout beauty trends are beginning to gain momentum but perhaps none more than the scene-stealing affect of dark lips.

If you always wanted to go dark in terms of lips, then this fashion month is for you. Big labels such as Marc Jacobs, Dior, MAC took a darker lip turn. Makeup artists have been so intent to get the richest and darkest lips possible that they used gel eyeliner to get the look. Even the Goth is back. And this time it is all modern and which is exactly what makes them a wearable trend. Even in the Indian market, these colors are sky-rocketing and are every girl’s choice. They are taking risks and breaking all rules.

So here we bring a list of those plum, burgundy, black, grey, etc lipsticks to get the best looks.

Bright red –  A classic red never goes out of style. Pair with a clean face and an understated hairstyle to create those cherry lips.

Chestnut – The new nude is a little darker, a little warmer and a little more brown.

Pastel – Fantasize in color with neon and pastel lippies.

Black – Get all vampy in that black lippie. Aim either for dark lips or dark smokey eyes. Both might make you look distractive.

Plum – It is a pinky mauve, luster finish lipstick that spreads smoothly on lips and suits all skin tones.
