Fashion Finds Bizarre Ways to Reveal at Venice Film Festival

It is said that a woman’s clothing should be worn to reveal the woman who is wearing the garment. Well, these two actress-models at the Venice Film Festival seem to have taken that diktat quite literally, much to the shock of those present at the event, and possibly even the models themselves.

Attending the photo call for the new TV mini-series The Young Pope on September 3, models Giulia Salemi and Dayane Mello left many person blushing with their jaw-dropping outfits. Now, given that Italians are not quite as uppity about revealing a bit of skin, the Italian models really pushed the boundaries of risque dressing with their barely-covering gowns as they posed across the red carpet.

Mello wore an extravagant pink dress with a the highest of high slits that went right up the waist, where it was cinched with a broad silver belt, and off-shoulder, puff-ball sleeves. The slit was a bit too much to handle for the model herself, who suffered through much embarrassment as the dress parted dangerously, and Mello had to quickly try and cover up in an attempt to preserve her modesty.
