Samant Chauhan needs no introduction. His love for Indian textiles and embroideries can be seen in his creations and today, his signature style of combining ivory white Bhagalpuri silk with red linings on his designs has become a favourite among fashionistas – from capes and dresses to gowns, he is ruling them all.
Recently, Chauhan added another feather in his cap by launching a massive three-storeyed studio in Shahpur Jat and it chronicles all his bestsellers over the years; showcasing his inspirations taken from traditions across the globe – from embroidered ensembles and accessories to home furnishings in the finest of Bhagalpuri silk, Chanderi and leather. The store houses his latest collection, ready-to-wear cocktail dresses and bridal couture with specially crafted clutches to go with every outfit – a dream come true for every bride-to-be.
There’s ample choice for men too – in black and grunge. And if you are lucky, you will find the designer himself in the studio for expert advice and some fashion cues. But it’s not just about clothes in this studio. The designer also launched his line of handloom hand-embroidered home furnishings and furniture collection with exquisite wood carvings.
