When fashion meets sport it creates a different comfort. Something comfy and colorful was introduced by Fashion Design Council of India called ‘Fashionably Fit’ in association with wrestling champion Sangram Singh.
The launch of SGX by Sangram Singh, a new range of sportswear at the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2016 came a surprise for fitness and fashion lovers.
International wrestling champion Sangram Singh, supported by one of India’s leading designer (Rohit Bal) launched the range, on the second day of the AIFW AW’16 at the open plaza at the JLN stadium.
Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “We are pleased to announce the launch of Sangram’s sportswear range at the AIFW AW’16. He is an inspiration and hope for millions of youngsters who due to lack of adequate facilities can’t reach their goals, but with this initiative they now have an effective platform.”
Sangram Singh, professional wrestler, said, “I thank the FDCI for giving me the opportunity of associating with the biggest fashion event in the country to launch my brand. My aim is to spread the message of the rising need to live a natural, healthy life. Through this launch, I want to help people in tier 2 and 3 cities by providing them access to good facilities.”
Sangram Singh despite arthritis and financial issues emerged as a youth icon motivating many like him, who have faced multiple challenges in their journey. With this range he hopes to help the underprivileged and provide them with sports facilities, in turn, fulfilling their goals.
