A wand that can curl up the perfect set of lashes, clump-free, with every single lash solo and separated, is a phenomenon yet to be discovered. But the newest invention by Hourglass—the Curator collection—might come close, and it will amaze you in more ways than one.
The biggest wonder: it comes brushless. Yes, a mascara wand that’s a stick and only that—no bristles to brush and curl. At first glance you might think a stainless steel stick is to your lashes what seashells are to chicken—there is absolutely no connection. But then, it could be everything your curling-challenged fingers ever needed.
Founder of Hourglass, Carisa Janes has basically combined tightlining for your lashes, which isn’t possible using a brush, with mascara. This means that it will target your lash line from the absolute base of the roots to uplift and amplify the fringe.
The collection comprises of a primer and pigment. First, you dip the stick in the primer and swipe over your lashes. Then, wash off the stick and coat it in the pigment and skilfully glide it over your lashes. Using the thin, brushless stick seems really effortless, and the tool apparently makes it easy to reach and separate every last strand, leading to fuller lashes from the roots till the ends.
